In 2005 China Direct commissioned Xiaohei, a popular artist in Shanghai to create a powerful corporate image.

"The concept was to create a unique image which is representative of this innovative business model. The logo, created in the form of traditional Chinese calligraphy, symbolizes multiple ideals. Incorporating a Bull with the images of the U.S. dollar and the sign of the Renminbi (the local currency of China) the logo uses the traditional colors of China, Red and yellow, found in the official flag of China. The Bull has dual meaning; on one hand it represents the Wall Street Bull, synonymous with upward trends in the financial markets, while reminiscent of the sign of the Ox in the Chinese calendar. The sign of the Ox represents power, balance, and devotion. Those born under this sign are said to be born leaders who inspire confidence in those around them. In the same manner, China Direct has pioneered an innovative business model."

China Direct, Inc. ("CDS") is a diversified management and advisory services organization. China Direct is a public company. Our common stock is listed on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol CDS.

We are a U.S. company doing business in China. China Direct is a management and advisory services organization which owns and consults business entities operating in the People's Republic of China ("PRC"). As a direct link to China, our organization serves as a vehicle to allow investors to participate directly in the rapid growth of the Chinese economy in a diversified manner. We operate in two primary divisions; (i) Management Services and (ii) Advisory Services.

Our Management Services division acquires controlling interests of Chinese business entities. We refer to these subsidiaries as our "portfolio" companies. We are committed to improving the quality and performance of each portfolio company by providing an array of resources to augment their efficiency and growth. These resources include management advice, investment capital, business development services, strategic planning, macroeconomic industry analysis and financial management. Through this ownership control, we provide resources, enabling these subsidiaries to successfully expand their operations.

Our Advisory Services division provides consulting services to both Chinese entities seeking access to the U.S. capital markets and North American entities seeking business opportunities in the PRC. We offer a suite of consulting services tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. We currently have service contracts with various clients. We refer to these companies as "client" companies.
